How NOT To Act In A Gallery

I'm not allowed to come to openings by myself, because I might do something like this. It's all "Do as I say, not do as I do," eh, BI'75?

* Note red wine being held precariously around the sculpture by not one, but two, people!

Once E showed up to meet me at a gallery reception (where I was working, cause I was at work)and she staggered in through the vestibule, took one look around, and rasped at me "I'll meet you around the corner" and took off like Inspector Gadget. She doesn't remember but I do. The rule is, bring a friend, date, large umbrella, basically anything to keep you company, and don't do anything you wouldn't do in front of a bank teller window.

now i've got to know - what did she do??

And E, my mom would NEVER spill alcohol! That would be wasting...

I remember that. I would like to point out that I left on my accord. I was not ASKED to leave.

P.S. You TOLD me to meet you at that reception at 9:00 for a ride home and it was 9:00.

Thank you, microbie. I'm still not sure why what I did was wrong.

When you're in a gallery, it's my rules or the highway. Learn to like it.
